When it comes to breakfast, I usually eat the same thing but there are occasions where I venture out and try something different. The occasions usually tend to be on a Saturday and possibly a Sunday. In Paris, it’s almost a most to try a croissant. The best one I’ve had so far was at Les Caprices de Charlotte. This is arguably the best croissant I’ve had compared to Sam’s Club and Maison Kayser. First, yes I said Sam’s club. Have you tried their croissants? It’s nice and buttery. Maison Kayser has been popping up in NYC but originally it started, you guessed it right, Paris. However, this specific place in Paris made the best so far. It’s first very flaky. The type of flake that when you touch it a little, it starts to peel off. It’s also very moist and crunchy. Not crunchy to the point where it’s annoying but a tad bit of crunch. The croissant also doesn’t need any butter as it taste as if it already has some added to it. When you bite into this, you have to hold it with two hands to reply get everything. It’s quite enjoyable, especially when you pair it with some tea or coffee. If Paris is on your list of places to go, make this place a must as well.
